Experience Woodworking at McLaughlin Woods 2011
Please read what is contained on this page very carefully. We desire to be very clear regarding our Registration & Payment and Refund & Cancellation policies. These policies are subject to change - generally season to season. If after reading this you still have a question, please e-mail or call us. Thank you.
Registration and Payment
- All registrations will be acknowledged by McLaughlin Woods with written confirmation.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to register.
- If paying by credit card, you may register online, or if you prefer, fill out a registration form and fax it to 603-783-9700. Registrations may also be mailed, along with payment to: McLaughlin Woods, 336 Baptist Road, Canterbury, NH 03224.
- We accept VISA, Master Card, or Discover. Make checks and money orders payable to McLaughlin Woods.
- A minimum 50% tuition deposit is required at the time of registration. The balance is due at least 4 weeks prior to the class according to the following arrangement:
If initial deposit is paid with a credit card, we will apply charges to the same card (unless otherwise directed) 4 weeks prior to the class.
If initial deposit is paid by check, we will send an invoice approximately 7 weeks before the class with payment expected at least 4 weeks prior to the class.
Those registering for multiple classes will also be charged (credit card purchases) or invoiced (check payments) according to this same arrangement prior to the 1st class of their selections or prior to each class -- depending on the distance of time between course selections.
- McLaughlin Woods reserves the right to remove a student from the class roster if full payment has not been made with regard to this policy.
- If you become interested in attending a class inside of 3 weeks prior to the start date, please contact us to determine space availability.
Discounts and Credits
- Only 1 discount offer shall be applied per class.
- Survey 2011 10% off Class Fee offering: to benefit, participants shall provide the survey code noted on their Notification email highlighting the discount offering. The 10% discount will be calculated from Class fee of the workshop that comes up chronologically first in their list of registered classes, and may be applied to the initial 50% deposit, or the balance payment due. Documentation of the applied discount will be identified on the invoice.
- Referral Credit Program: Tuition credit will be given to clients of McLaughlin Woods (i.e. already on our mailing list) who refer a friend. They must be specifically noted on a registrants registration form to receive the $25 class fee credit after the referred individual completes their first class. NOTE: The $25 will be applied to the referer's account as credit towards the Class Fee of a future class. Documentation of the applied credit will be identified on the invoice.
- The referral credit may not be combined with any other discount when registering for class.
Cancellations & Refunds
- In the event you must cancel your registration, written notification must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the class for a full refund of all payments made to date. Or, funds may be transferred to a class within the program year.
- Written notification of a cancellation received within 4 weeks of the class, will receive no refunds. Full payment for the class will still be due.
- Written notification constitutes e-mail, or postal mail. The date of cancellation will be determined by the day your correspondence is received at our office. If you do not immediately hear back from us confirming your cancellation, please follow up to make sure we received your notification.
- Anyone registered for a class who fails to show up without notification of cancellation will not receive any refund, nor retain the opportunity of redirecting funds to a future scheduled class.
- In the case where we must initiate a cancellation for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible, and provide a 100% refund (unless arrangements are made for a transfer of registration to an alternate class).
