Custom Fine Furniture
When not teaching/coordinating workshops, Tom McLaughlin is building custom furniture for clients. Check out his Portfolio at www.customfurnituremastermaster.com.
The Workshop Book: Celebrating the place where craftmanship begins
We are honored to have been included in the Taunton Press publication: The Workshop, by Scott Gibson, photos by Randy O'Rourke. Through some phenomenal photography, and essays accounting each one's story, the author grants access into over 30 workshops of furniture makers, boat builders, and turners. Each workshop has a unique flair, specific to the craftsman who works there.
The shop pictured in the book is the place Tom rented for a while prior to building his own custom shop on his home property. Click here to take a peek inside the book. Look for the link on the left hand side to "Look inside the book". The third spread gives a glimpse of Tom's previous shop.
